Resolved Question: Hiking/camping: Is 5 lbs too heavy for a backpacking pack?

I purchased the Kelty Coyote 4500 really cheap ($84) and am starting to have buyer's remorse because it weighs 5 lbs. I don't plan on packing it full for most weekend trips, but having the potential for a larger load capacity makes me think this will make for a versatile pack. What do yall think? Thanks!
